FOR A LOVED ONE
Caring for someone you love as they die, or simply bearing witness to the journey, can be painful, overwhelming, exhausting, and uncomfortable. It’s hard enough to navigate the emotional whirlwind of it all; add logistical and practical duties and keeping up can feel impossible. As your end-of-life doula, I can help you to identify, organize, and delegate the tasks and decisions related to daily care of your loved one; optimize communication with friends, family, and the medical team; and prepare for the final breath and what comes afterward. I can also provide comfort and perspective as you take the essential time you need along the way to care for yourself in your emerging grief, whether you’re processing difficult and unfamiliar feelings, trying to envision what life will look like after your loved one’s passing, or finding ways to incorporate restorative moments into your day-to-day.
